Recommended Products

Below are some products we recommend to our patients. These products link directly to where you can purchase the product on Amazon.com. By purchasing through this page, Amazon gives us a tiny percentage of the sale which in turn helps pay the hosting/webmaster cost for this website and helps support the open dialogue we encourage. In the event you find a link which no longer works or a product which is no longer offered, please let us know.

Airex Balance Pad
Great for ankle stabilization training! Use it for single leg balance, air squats, or as a way to cushion your knees while performing exercises in a kneeling position.

Theraband
Great for shoulder, scapular, and hip exercises. Check out our exercises under the “media” tab on our homepage.

Flexbar, Red
We use this product primarily for wrist and forearm strengthening. The red bar has a lighter amount of resistance.

Flexbar, Green
More resistance than the red flexbar.

Foot Rocker Calf Stretcher
This product is great for stretching the calf muscles in a “foot neutral” position.

Home Ranger Shoulder Pulley
We at times recommend this product for gentle stretching for patients with “frozen shoulders”

Superfeet “Green” Premium Insoles
These are our most recommended “over the counter” orthotic. These are a much more affordable alternative to custom made orthotics. The green model offers a higher degree of arch support.

Superfeet “Blue” Premium Insoles
These offer moderate arch support as compared to the green model.

Superfeet “Black” Premium Insoles
This model has the lowest degree of arch support, more ideal for people who cannot tolerate higher degrees of structure.

Superfeet ¾ Length Men’s Insoles
Good for business and dress shoes, moderate amount of support.

Superfeet Delux ¾ length Women’s Insoles
These will fit into most women’s flats and offers moderate support.

Superfeet “Berry” Women’s Insoles
These orthotics were made specifically for a women’s foot shape. It offers intermediate support.

Superfeet Women’s Delux ¾ Length High Heel Insoles
Physical therapists would ever recommend wearing high heels, but if you must, this may be a good purchase!

Squeeze Ball
This product offers a great way to begin strengthening one’s grip.

Exercise Ball
We routinely use these balls for shoulder exercises and postural exercises. Most people can readily perform exercises leaning over the “55 CM” diameter ball. For those of us who are under 5’4” in height, a “45 CM” ball may fit better. For sitting on the ball to exercise, most people will find the “65 CM” ball sufficient.

BOSU Balance Trainer
This is a fantastic training tool with many, many uses. This can be used for standing balance, squatting, push-ups, and too many other exercises to mention here. Highly recommended for any home gym.

Body Blade CXT
We love this product for shoulder stabilization exercise. Please refer to our website videos for specific exercises that we have our patients perform.

Varidesk: High / Low Table
We have one of these in our office! This is the next best thing to having an entire desk that raises and lowers. This is worth the money.

Strassburg Sock
This product is used while sleeping to maintain normal tissue length on the bottom of the foot. Many people suffering from plantar fasciitis find this product to be very helpful.

Foam Rollers
We recommend both half and full cylinders for thoracic spine stretching and muscle massage. The 36-inch length is suitable to lie on.

Back Knobber
This product is great for self-massaging tender points and trigger points in the hard to reach areas of the back.

SI Belt (Medium 34-40 inches)
Recommended for patients who are “hyper-mobile” and have lower back pain.

SI Belt (Large 40-46 inches)
Same product as the medium belt, for larger-waist individuals.

SI Belt Small (up to 34 inches)
For the small waist.

M-Brace Knee Stabilizer Brace
This is one of the more stable knee braces available over the counter. This brace is great for hyper-extensible or otherwise unstable knees.

Swede-O Ankle Brace
For the chronic ankle sprainer this brace is a must. It is great for sports, hiking, and other high level activities. This brace is neither too bulky nor painful to wear.

Therma-Care Heat Patches
Adhesive patches for lower back pain.

Desk Chair, Hermann Miller “Mirra”
This is the best office chair on the market. Adjustable, sturdy, and comfortable.

Adjustable Keyboard Tray / Human Scale
This is a great adjustable keyboard tray that comes with a mouse pad stand.

Pinky Ball
We recommend this ball for pressure point releasing on the muscles of the shoulder blade and back. This ball has just the right amount of hardness.

Chopat Knee Strap
For patella tendonitis!

Wrist Night Sleep Support
This brace keeps the wrist in a stable position while sleeping.

Wrist Brace / Moderate Support
For daytime use and computer use.

Long Thumb Spica
For “Dequervains” tendonitis, keeps the thumb in a stable position.

“Even Up” Shoe Lift
This product is a must for patients who have to wear bulky immobilization boots on one foot. Using this shoe lift on the unaffected side provides a more even keeled alignment.

Gyrotonic Wrist Exerciser
We recommend this for a more intense forearm workout. Be patient with this product, it takes a bit of time to learn how to “get it started”.

Standing Mat
This is a great idea if you are working at a standing desk. This product provides a bit of cushioning and tread.

Memory Foam Knee Sleeping Pillow
For those of us who sleep side lying, this product helps to maintain hip and lower back alignment.

Power Systems Combo Board
5 interchangeable fulcrums which allow for three levels of difficulty as a single plane rocker.

Elbow Splint – Adjustable Elbow Support
Prevents harmful arm positions while sleeping. Provides customizable comfort with maximum immobilization.

ColPac Cold Therapy
This is the type of sturdy cold pack that we use in the clinic.

TravelMate Wellness Seat Cushion
Designed to help relieve back pain, numb buttocks, and other discomfort associated with prolonged sitting.

MedCline Advanced Positioning Wedge
Supports an inclined side sleeping position. The patented arm pocket at the top helps keep you from sliding down during the night.
