Molly Horan received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from The George Washington University in 2022 and her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Maryland, College Park in 2018. Growing up she was very involved in dance and travel soccer, which sparked her interest in a career that promotes healthy movement and wellness.
Molly is especially interested in outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation, and her background includes working as a physical therapy tech for a year between undergraduate and graduate school. Additionally, during her graduate career, she completed a clinical internship at an outpatient clinic that specialized in manual therapy. During this time, Molly grew to appreciate the benefits of this approach for various musculoskeletal conditions.
Her additional clinical experiences include working in the ICU, acute care, and inpatient rehabilitation. Exposure to various treatment settings has allowed Molly to gain insight into a host of patient populations, diagnoses, physical activity levels, and demographics.
